I’ve heard this quote at least a few times and I can’t quite remember if it was from my mom or dad. But, regardless of where I heard it from, this quote makes a great point. If you take a vacation, you must work three times as hard when you get back. In other words, you have to do the same amount of work but in three times the time.

Of course if you don’t work hard while on vacation, then after your return you will be even more tired and frustrated. So, by taking a vacation you are actually doubling your work.
